Art Deco Two Stone Old European Cut Diamond & French Cut Sapphire Filigree Dinner Ring in Platinum, circa 1920's. There are two central Old European Cut Diamonds anchored in the middle of the ring. Sprinkled to the sides, to frame the geometric filigree details. There is a total of approximately 1.70 carats total weight of diamond and 10 Sapphires that have a deep blue hue and beautiful saturation. This handmade piece of vintage history features a technique known as a "pierced gallery," which has been meticulously crafted for each and every diamond. This detail creates considerable strength to secure each diamond, while leaving spacing between each to allow light to flow into the underbelly of the ring and maximize the brilliance of the diamonds. Don't expect to see this technique on modern pieces of jewelry, as it is incredibly time intensive and is reserved for very exclusive jewelry.
Allow this dinner ring to accompany you the next time you and the girls, or the man of your dreams, goes out on the town! This ring is subtle enough to not jump out and scream, while it maintains considerable presence filled with elegance and sophistication.
